All through the months of November and December, a large part of Hyde Park gets beautiful transformed into a Winter Wonderland with fairground rides, giant wheels, circus, Christmas market, stalls and an ice rink. In its eight year, this magnificent event has become a favourite in the calendars of people wide and far. Other famous features are the Zippos Circus and 53-metre-high Observational Wheel. Christmas Market with wooden chalets and numerous Bavarian-style bars and cafes dominate the place and make it more exciting.
This free-to-enter event includes Christmas-themed activities and an ambience that is totally unparalleled. The event offers something for everyone. You can experience the thrilling rides, take a trip to Santa Land or surf the Christmas markets. Skate around the ice rink and enter the Magical Ice Kingdom to see lovely sculptures and ice castle.
Something that shouldn’t be missed are Cirque Beserk and Zippos Circus. Entry to these places requires booking in advance. These assure fast entry in Hyde Park. These are available from token booths. There are carousels, funhouses and helter skelters for kids. High spirited roller coasters is meant for older children and adults. For those who want to enjoy a calm experience, take a seat and enjoy the lovely view.

Although the entry to the fascinating Winter Wonderland is free, you need tickets to see various attractions. Some of these are ice skating, observation wheel, Zippos Circus, Cirque Beserk and Magical Ice Kingdom.
The event is open from 10am to 10pm on all days except Christmas Day.
How to reach here
Marble Arch is the entrance point to Winter Wonderland. Green Park, Paddington and Victoria are the nearby underground stations. You can also book holiday apartments in Hyde Park, where the event takes place and is pretty close to popular places like Kensington and the happening Oxford Street.
